Second edition of Charity Halloween costume event was held at the Aphrodisiac night club over the weekend. The event put together by Juliet Ibrahim Foundation headed by actress Juliet Ibrahim and Project Smiles headed by C.E.O of Aphrodisiac Confidence, brought a number known faces to party in fancy costumes and ultimately to raise money for charity. Aside the fun and the dancing in the club the Halloween party was to raise awareness and funds for her Juliet Ibrahim Foundation for kidney cancer and to supports other charity projects by Confidence�s Project Smile Foundation whose core aim is to smiles on the face of needy children. Some known faces present included: Confidence Haugen, Vicky Zugah, Eddie Nartey, Nigerian singer Davido, Juliet Ibrahim, Saxophonist Steve Badi, Beverly Afaglo and several others all dressed in different Halloween costume. This year's funds will be donated to a 3 years old kid who is suffering from cancer of the eye and needs 30,000 USD for immediate surgery. Last year, two needy patients suffering from kidney failure benefitted from the costume party, the funds were used to pay off some weeks of their hospital bills for dialysis treatment. The event is supposed to be an annual event and Juliet and all other people involved in the organization seem unperturbed about the criticisms and promised to put together same event come next year.
