Hearts Board To Meet on Monday Over Coach Duncans Future

The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak will on Monday meet to decide on the future of former coach David Duncan. It was alleged Coach Duncan had over spent on player purchase over the period of his appointment and was demanding for an extra 80,000 dollars to augment the team, when the January window opens, which some board found outrageous. Duncan was prevailed upon by the supporters to attend Hearts of Oaks Premier League game in Tema against Amidaus Professionals on Sunday, which the Phobians won 1-0 and he was carried shoulder high after the match. The 50-year-old has refused to be on the bench for Hearts against Amidaus, stating that the power to reinstate him lies with the Board. But Managing Director of the club Neil Armstrong Mortagbe believes the Hearts of Oak family is a united force and there the outcome of the meeting should be taken in good fate. The Ghana Premier League side is today (Monday) 102 years since its formation on 11/11/1911
