Cameroon Coach Vink Blasts Eto'o Fils

Though Cameroon have booked their ticket for Brazil 2014,the indomitable lions are not without internal strife and team unity is badly jeopardized. Ahead of their 4-1 victory against Tunisia Chelsea striker Samuel Eto made some wild allegations against his own team mates that his midfielders hardly pass him balls when he leads the team's attack, but head coach Vink has rubbished Eto's claims describing it as primary school tales. Eto'o said: Its true and regrettable. And when you watched me retreating to the midfield to chase the ball, its because I heard of the plot. In a rebuttal of Eto's claims head coach Vink said, 'These are primary-school tales,' Vink said. 'I don't believe them at all. 'I did not see anything amiss in the game. Each of you can go and watch the video once more. I have watched it over again for about six to seven times. I never noticed any time when a player refused to pass the ball to Etoo or any other player. There could be some issues between the players but nobody refused to kick the ball to Etoo during that encounter. To me it sounds much like a kindergarten talk. Eto retired from international football in September but has been talked into coming back to achieve world cup qualification.
