Bob Bradley Wants Egypt To Prepare For Future World Cup Not 2014

American born Egypt national team coach Bob Bradley believes Egypt has a brighter world cup chance in the future if they nurture more of their young players in Europe. When asked about how Egypt can end their world cup disillusionment in future he said. To build something for the future, you need vision, you need the right people, Bradley told the pre-match conference. You need to make sure that young players are being identified, are being put in situations where they can improve, where they are in a professional environment day in and day out, where they can learn. Its also important that when young players get to a certain level, they are challenged to think about going to Europe, to bigger clubs. When we look at the teams who have been most successful in Africa, the teams with the most talentthe big names in those teams are all playing in Europe, have been there for a long time and are playing in big clubs in Europe. Dont misunderstand me, this is not a knock on the Egyptian league, but if Egypt is going to grow and compete with big teams not only in Africa but in the world, the challenge for young players is to move on as professionals and try to push to play in the biggest clubs. It requires vision and leadership. You cant have a situation where clubs are refusing to let their young players go because theyre only thinking about themselves today or tomorrow. Its also important that when young players get to a certain level, they are challenged to think about going to Europe, to bigger clubs. If you want to grow as a football nation, you have to have more players playing in big teams.
