NPP MP: I Wont Allow Them To Engage In Their Stupid And Senseless Activities

NPP Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon Philip Basuah, has warned that the cracks in the party is deepening by the day because of the penchant of certain people to ride on the backs of leading men of integrity to secure their positions. Whiles admitting that the NPP is facing some challenges currently, and the fact that everyone needs a political godfather for counsel and direction, the Law Maker bemoaned the situation where any form of disagreement with those who have pitched camps with very influential people in the party, is tagged as being opposed to these powerful people. the serious issue in the party is that, there are people in the NPP who have divided the party. When it is time for elections, they tag others as being members of opposing factions and further use their acquaintance with leading members in Kumasi and Accra to report innocent membersA number of forms was agreed to be allocated for Kumawu before the elections but later, these forms were handed over to an individual who is not even a polling station agent...he is distributing it to members of the party, using his own discretion, he claimed. I am not a supporter of Alan but I have been branded as one. But Adakabre, I assure you that something serious is going to happen in Kumawu because I will not allow them to have their way with their stupid and senseless activities in the partythe whole World would hear of this, if because they think it is right to destroy the reputation of others to simply satisfy their greed, the soft-spoken MP for Kumawu fumed. Addressing the issue in the studios of NEAT FM, Hon. Basuah further advised highly placed personalities in the party to be wary of unfounded gossips and sycophants. His comments come on the back of reported agitations and rancor that has characterized the ongoing NPP internal party elections, mostly in the Western and Eastern Regions.
