A landing site to facilitate the smooth transportation of persons and cargo on the Volta Lake will start soon at Dambai in the Krachi East District of the Volta Region. The project forms part of government�s Eastern transport corridor under the Chinese $ 3 billion Lake transport package. This was disclosed to Radio Ghana by the Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Francis Ganyaglo at Dambai.
