"No Nana No Vote Who Really Cares

No matter how stout, long and turgid a p*nis is - Its erection cannot intimidate a v*gina. In short, the rise and fall of a pen*s was masterminded by a vag*na African Proverb. A group in the United Kingdom (UK) called New Patriotic Party (NPP), UK Group said based on hypothesis xyz, they think that No Nana No Vote, for election 2016, my simple answer to them is; who cares. They can tickle themselves to laughter, and bring him as many times as they want, Ghanaians have had enough of him. I will say here and now that there will be no crises, if Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is defeated at the NPPs primaries in 2014 and if he does not become President, but he has a right to contest the primaries and the general elections, if he so wishes, despite the fact that he has been given two opportunities already and he failed to make a good showing. Before Nana Addo Dankwa, there were many noble men and women whose quest to lead this country ended in just pipe dreams, so he will just be part of the statistics. A first fool is not a fool, but a second fool is, I do not expect the Delegates and supporters of the NPP to be fooled again into thinking that the man to deliver them electoral victory is Nana Akufo-Addo, 2016 will not be different from 2008 and 2012, should they throw him up again to face President John Dramani Mahama, the story will be the same in 2017; defeat to Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP. I was of the opinion that 2012 election was the retirement package for Nana Addo, unfortunately the man seems adamant, he want to die through electoral defeat and that will be his fate in 2016, if he is not given good counsel. Opportunity comes but once, fortunately for Nana Addo, he has been given two opportunities, first in 2008, this was how close he came to realizing his dream and then 2012, all was not enough to win him the Presidency that he so much desire. The votes of the people was not enough for him, he wanted the Supreme Court to make him President, but all to no avail. Preparation, it is said meets opportunity, it is clear to me that Nana Addo did not prepare well enough for the task ahead of him, when he declared his intention to be President of this country. He has nursed that ambition since the return to multi-party democracy in 1992. Undoubtedly, he is one of the most visible and vocal politicians of contemporary politics, that alone is not enough to win one an election, you need the support and acceptance of Ghanaians. Man proposes, God disposes. In his infinite wisdom, God has never made a mistake; his decisions have always stood the test of time. When our first President and founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was invited by the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC), to come and help in the fight for Independence, before his arrival, there were a lot of people, who were already in the struggle, but Nkrumahs presence changed everything and his decision to break away to form the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), was what eventually won us our freedom. Tell me if that was not the hand of God? Examples abound all over the world, Nelson Mandela of South Africa, from incarceration to become the father of a nation etc. Stories abound of leaders, who defied God and ended miserably. Nana Addo himself is on the path of self destruction, if he does not give up this ego trip of wanting to be President at all cost and realize that The Presidency is not his calling. If you do not know death, watch sleep, if it took President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), only three months to beat you in one of the keenly contested elections, how do you hope to win, when the President has had four years to deliver on his promises and mandate? It is only a fool who will go into such a contest. The NPP in UK and those in Ghana can deceive themselves with the No Nana No Vote mantra, as though there are no men in that party, after Nana Addo. What happened to the likes of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng, Ambassador Isaac Osei, are these men not nobler than Nana Addo? if a political party is desirous of electoral victory, do you look beyond these gentlemen? This country is blessed with many men and women who are capable and have the capacity to lead this country. Nana Addo can be made a tin god in the NPP and worshipped, that is all he is to them, but to Ghanaians he is just one of the 24 million qualified individuals, who cannot rule them. When confronting complex equations, the simpler solution is most often the correct one, to the NPP the simpler solution is Alan Kyeremanteng, Nana Addo have lost twice, Alan Kyeremanteng will win, it is that simple! After observing Nana Addo for all these years, from his years of street agitations and Parliamentary work, I have come up with one undeniable truth; he only does what is good for him. Such a person cannot lead a country. Like a vagina which is not scared by the presence of the penis, Nana Addo does not scare President Mahama and the NDC.
