First Ever 'Afro-Beats Festival' In Ghana, Takes Over Accra This Weekend

Ghana is about to experience the biggest weekend ever as far as entertainment is concern. The first ever Afro-Beats Festival in Ghana will take over Accra with never seen before performances from great Ghanaian and foreign artistes for three days non-stop. The festival actually starts on Friday December 13, a day on which miniature parties would be held simultaneously across 10 locations including Honey Suckle, Shaka Zulu, Rhapsody�s, Champs Bar & Grill, C Longue, Polo Club, +233 Jazz Club, Best Western Premier Hotel, Devino DnD and the La Pleasure Beach. The main focus will be on Saturday and Sunday. December 14 and 15, where food from all the popular food joints in the capital and all kinds of drinks will be on sale at a reduced price amidst good music all at one place: The Independence Square. On December 14 at the Afro-Beats Festival would be special performances from Dancehall contenders Samini and Shatta Wale, Banky W and Flava from Nigeria, Kaakie, Sister Deborah, Raquel, Stonebwoy, Guru, samini, EL, Chupa, Gemini, Shaker and several others would also be on the bill.
