Ghana's Infrastructural Deficit Estimated At 1.5 Million Dollars Annually

It is estimated that about one-point five billion dollars is required per annum for the next decade to enable Ghana to make up for the infrastructural deficit. The government, however cannot raise this amount alone due to fiscal challenges. The Minister of Finance, Seth-Terkper,has therefore challenged the private sector to partner government through the Public Private Partnership, PPP initiative to meet the current infrastructural needs of the country to promote growth and economic stability. Mr Terkper said this when he held a breakfast meeting with ministers, their Deputies and Chief Directors on the PPP in Accra.
