A leading contender for the position of National Youth Organiser of the NPP, Simon Danso Asamoah, has said that he is the best person for the job. In an interview with Peacefmonline.com today, yesterday 10th December, Mr. Simon Danso Asamoah, a former parliamentary aspirant in the Juaboso constituency of the Western Region stated that, ��I see myself as the man best placed to unlock the doors of electoral success that have been locked to the party in recent years��. According to Mr. Danso Asamoah, the reason why the NPP have lost the two previous elections is that they approached those elections with the wrong mentality, and that the only way out for them is to identify and apply what he termed the appropriate electoral philosophy. ��Until such a change in electoral philosophy��, he stated, ��the NPP will most certainly get crushed again in 2016��. And he believes, he is the right person to change the electoral philosophy of the party. To the charismatic former MP Aspirant, winning a presidential election in Ghana require more than the rolling out of a good enough campaign. And that mentality, he charged, is what he is bringing on board. Mr. Simon Danso Asamoah also assured the youth of the party that he will undertake a comprehensive overhaul of the youth wing. As he put it, ��the youth wing we have now exists more in name than in reality. We need a youth wing that is very much equipped to play a pivotal role in our march towards victory in 2016��. He also promised that, ��with me as National Youth Organiser, each and every Constituency and Region would have a youth Secretariat made up an Organiser and deputy as well as Secretary and Treasurer��. ��These youth secretariats��, he continued, ��will be allowed the autonomy to plan their own budgets and execute their own programmes��, adding that, ��such a powerful youth wing will make our party unbeatable in future elections��. Talking about his chances of victory, the vibrant and charismatic man from the Western Region stated that his chances are ��as bright as unimaginable�� as members of the party have realized he is ��the one with the biggest vision for the NPP��. The National Youth Organiser aspirant, beaming with utmost confidence also promised the party that with him as the leader of their youth wing, ��the NPP�s next electoral defeat would be many decades away��.
