The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Ghana, Right Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey has attributed the Canker of corruption to failure of the Church to exhibit exemplary leadership. He said the life of extravagance shown by some preachers has created room for corrupt practices in the church. Consequently, both their followers and others who look up to them ignorantly fall prey to corrupt acts. He asked Church leaders to chastise members who exhibit corrupt tendencies. Professor Martey was speaking at the dedication of a church building in Accra.
