Ibrahim Biodim Wins 4th Edition Of Stone YFM Pool Tournament

The 4th edition of the Stone YFM Pool tournament which travelled through the various regions and communities in Ghana finally came to a close at the Kumasi Sports Stadium over the weekend. Biodim Ibrahim from Sunyani emerged the overall winner of the 2013 Pool tournament after beating 19 other participants from Kumasi, Obuasi, Kasoa and others. Ibrahim took home a brand new pool table, products from ABL, trophy, and a cash prize. Kwame Afriyie and Benedict Addai both from Kumasi took the 2nd and the third positions respectively. Kwame earned a cash prize, products from ABL, Samsung tablet and a trophy. Benedict was also given a trophy and souvenirs from ABL, sponsors of the Pool tournament. It was a day of excitement with a fusion of sports and music. The sports stadium was filled with thrones of spectators cheering their fans to victory while digging the outstanding performances from Ghanaian artistes including Stonebouy, Turas, and Bisa K Dei. Mr. William Nankah-Bruce, General Manager of YFM commented that �We have had an amazing two months experience touring the Regions of Ghana and engaging the youth who show profound interest in the Pool sports. I congratulate the winners on behalf of YFM and Accra Breweries limited, our partner since we started the pool tournament. We hope to have a much bigger Pool tournament with mass participation next year�. Jerry Gokah, Brands manager of ABL also expressed his gratitude to YFM for partnering with them and congratulated the winners of the tournament. Over the past 3 years, we have travelled through all the ten regions of Ghana encouraging the pool sports among the youth.
