Rackus Production Marks One Year Anniversary

December 2012 saw the entry of Rackus Production into the Ghanaian entertainment scene after years of operations in the United States of America. A 360 degrees entertainment management and a production company, it rolled out with a couple of events in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi. On Monday 16th December 2013, the �Class Masters� company hosted a section of the media, radio and television personalities and other stakeholders within the arts and entertainment industry to a cocktail event at its offices in Osu, Accra, to mark the first anniversary of its operations in Ghana. The event served as a platform to engage the members of the media and other stakeholders on ways of improving public and corporate events in Ghana as well as outlining its plans for the 2014 entertainment year. The Communications Manager of Rackus Production, Mr. Gabriel Boateng, indicated that �Rackus Production believes in the provision of quality entertainment and we are here to provide Ghanaians with the alternative entertainment they have been looking forward to over the years�. Guests at the event included presenter and musician Jon Germain, Kwaku Sintim Misa (KSM), Ezekiel Tettey (Solid Multimedia) and Reggae & Dancehall artistes, Natural Face, who performed few of his songs. In 2013, Rackus Production in partnership with Solid Multimedia and Bullhaus Entertainment organized the BASS Awards 2013, the first ever awards scheme to recognize and reward Reggae and Dancehall artistes who have produced quality records as well as individuals who have contributed positively to the development of the Reggae and Dancehall genre. Rackus Production was also the power behind the successful KaakIt Up Tour which saw the Ghanaian Dancehall queen, Kaakie, thrilling thousands of music lovers alongside some of the biggest Ghanaian artistes including Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy, Edem and Kwaw Kesse in three cities; Tamale, Kumasi and Takoradi. With football being the passion of the nation and to ensure Ghana�s qualification to Brazil 2014 World Cup, Rackus Production hosted the playing body and technical handlers of the Black Stars to a dinner at the Golden Tulip Hotel ahead of their match against Egypt. They were entertained by several artists including Shatta Wale and Cwesi Oteng. In addition, Rackus Production partnered with Empire Entertainment to host the American music group, Naughty By Nature, for the Back In The Day Concert which celebrated legendary Ghanaian hiplife artistes, Reggie Rockstone and Obrafour. Lovers of quality entertainment will have a lot to cheer about as Management of Rackus Production have revealed they will soon be announcing their list of exciting shows to be hosted in 2014.
