Three DCEs Sworn Into Office

The Eastern Regional Minister, Ms Helen Adwoa Ntoso, has sworn into office three District Chief Executives at a ceremony in Koforidua. They are Windham Afram-Kwahu Afram Plains North, Joseph Omari Sasu-Kwahu South and Alhaji Abass Sbaabe-Fanteakwa. Ms Ntoso urged them to learn from the challenges of their colleagues who have been in office much longer, and advised them not to engage in conflicts that could undermine government�s efforts. She urged them to operate an open door policy to enable people in the district to interact with them to speed up development. The Regional Minister gave the assurance that a lot of development projects are going to take place in the region, and urged the DCEs to be ambassadors of the development plans of government. On behalf of his colleagues, the DCE of Kwahu South Joseph Omari Sasu thanked President John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in them and pledged their support to continue with the �Better Ghana Agenda. He pledged to work hard to bring development to the people.
