Dr Alphonse Kwao Dorcoo, Acting Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), has spent his working life at the refinery where he started as a national service person, from November 1980-August 1981. Born on September 30, 1954 and hails from Ada-Foah, the Chemical Engineer and member of Ghana Institution of Engineers industrial experience include General Manager, Production TOR, January 2004- October 2005, General Manager, Refinery Development and Training, November 2005- November 2006, and General Manger, Commerce; December 2006, till his appointment. From March 1999 � November 2002 he was a Project Implementation Team Leader, Ghana Residual Fuel Catalytic Cracking Project (2000- 2003). He was a product of University of Science and Technology, Kumasi where he obtained BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering 1974- 1976; MBA (Exec) Newport University, and Doctor of Philosophy (Finance) from Lacrosse University, Bay St Louis, Missouri, USA.
