British Airways on Tuesday announced that it is offering five members of the public worldwide, the opportunity to race its A380 Super Jumbo Aircraft on the runway in South Africa in early February 2014. The 'once in a lifetime opportunity', according to a statement issued by BA and made available to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said the package forms part of activities to celebrate the launch of A380 direct flights from London-Heathrow-Johannesburg. �From February 12, 2014 British Airways will fly its new A380 between the airline�s award winning home base of London Heathrow Terminal 5 and Johannesburg,� the statement said. Members of the public who want a chance of winning a place in the race should visit www.ba.com/ManVsPlane between Friday 10th and Monday 20th January 2014 and fulfill the entry requirements. Five winners will be selected to fly to South Africa next month with British Airways. "The runner with the quickest time on the day will win two return tickets (in Club World) on one of British Airways A380 direct flights to London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong or Johannesburg, enjoying the sweet taste of success" the statement said.
