Andre Ayew To Be Fully Ready For Action In Two Weeks

Marseille winger Andre Ayew believes he will be able to return to full training within the next fortnight. The 24-year-old has been out for the last two months due to a knee injury that he picked up while on international duty for the Black Stars. Ayew took part in his first training session earlier this week, but revealed that he can only do fitness work at the moment. "I am not ready to start kicking a ball, I need a lot of time and patience, I am doing light training now and that is being instructed by my trainer Federic who I owe a lot, he is such an amazing figure in my life," he said "There were a team of specialists that were with me when I was in Ghana for the holidays, they made sure I did the right training at the right time under strict instructions and I think that has helped me a lot. "I have been told not to rush, just to keep doing light training. The physiotherapy sessions are going well and my condition is far better than what was anticipated, so I am pleased by that."
