Some young Ghanaian entrepreneurs have developed the first-ever mobile value added service application-the android application- for Ghanaian mobile phone users.
The El Cuto Consult �Speakers voice android application� will enable mobile phone users to access inspirational leaders, marriage solutions, sports information among others in a clear and concise manner.
According to the Managing Director, Nana Gyau Amoah, the application is convenient, colorful and easy to use.
He explained that the 1.4MB application also sends one�s text messages to a briefcase where he/she can read at his/her convenience without spamming the SMS inbox.
In recent times, mobile phone subscribers had complained about unsolicited text messages which they have not requested for. The application however brings the user the convenience of double subscription confirmation with no hidden charges.
It also caters for number portability as it gives the subscriber the option of continuous enjoyment on his or her new number.
El Cuto Consult is a mobile value added service (MVAS) content provision company based in Accra.
Made up of a crop of dynamic industry veterans, it provides various MVAS contents for subscribers on various networks in Ghana and Uganda.
With negotiations going on in Liberia and Tanzania the company is seeking to expand its territory of MVAS content and application development to other regions in the Eastern and Western African markets.
