Situation In Brazil Wont Be Easy Kwesi Appiah

Black Stars Coach James Akwasi Appiah is upbeat about taking the team to the 2014 World Cup. Akwasi Appiah became the first Ghanaian to qualify the Black Stars to a world cup after leading his charges to beat the Pharaohs of Egypt 7-3 on aggregate in a play-off. Kwesi Appiah knows the situation wont be easy at all in Brazil. According to him, Group G contenders Germany, Portugal and the United States of America will be tough but his players will do their best to mount the needed challenge during the tournament. Kwesi believes Ghana are prepared enough to surprise the world though the surprise wont come that easy. All must help in diverse ways and with that, we will do better than the 2010 world cup in South Africa, Kwesi Appiah said in an interview. He revealed he is still monitoring some Ghanaian players abroad and will have some few players to blend with the others, assuring the team will be solid before the football mundial in June. Ghana Sports believes has been told at least two international friendlies will be played before the real tourney in Brazil.
