The Belgian giants have rejected a loan offer from SK Lierse for the Ghana Under-20 winger on transfer deadline day. Anderlecht have rejected a loan bid by SK Lierse to have Ghanaian speedster Frank Acheampong for the rest of the season. Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal that the former Belgian Champions turned down the offer on transfer deadline day as they feel the winger has a major role to play in their title winning ambitions. Acheampong, 19, joined Anderlecht last year for a million Euros from Buriram United and impressed with the youth team before gaining promotion to the senior side. This season the Ghana Under-20 star, who is injured on the left leg, started strongly with top notch performances and banged in some goals.
