Prof Mintah returns to Dwarfs

Professor Anthony Mintah, has resumed duty as the Head Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, as the team prepares for their maiden participation in the African Confederations Cup next week. GNA Sports information indicates that the reconstituted Board of Directors of the Cape Coast-based team, headed by Nana Sam Brew-Butler has ironed out the operational misunderstanding between the club and the coach. The information indicates that Dwarfs seeks to take Africa by storm hence the move to bring back Mintah who had been in the realm of affairs until late last year. A source within the club said Prof Mintah did not resign in the first place; he never resigned. Whatever differences there were have been solved and he is back to head the African campaign immediately. Mintah who reportedly resigned late last year is expected to be in charge when Dwarfs hosts Senegals ASC Les Jaraaf at the preliminary stage of the Confederation Cup at the Robert Mensah Stadium on Sunday February 9. The 13 member-reconstituted Board includes Mr Kobby Acheampong, Chief Executive of GYEEDA as Director of Communications, Mr Kofi Essoun, Dr. George Dwason Amoah, Mr Mike Krakue and Dr. Jimmy Heymann. The rest include, Kweku Awotwi, Michael Wilson, Hutton Mensah, Zac Bemtum, Dr. George Crenstil; whilst Nana Aidoo retains his position as the Chief Executive of the Club with Mr J.F.
