The Vetting Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has debunked speculations that Mr. Paul Afoko an aspirant of the National Chairmanship slot of the party had been disqualified.
An official statement issued by the Committee on Saturday indicated that �Mr. Afoko contestant for the position of National Chairman has been put on hold until further notice. Therefore balloting by contestants for the National Chairman Position also remains on hold until further notice�
Speaking in an interview to Kwami Sefa Kayi, Mr. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, the Party�s Director of Elections and Secretary to the Committee, indicated that �Paul Afoko has not been dismissed�
He also added that the committee will meet on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 to decide on the fate of Mr. Afoko.
