"Tulip Mirror Ball" Returns This Friday

Being different makes you stand out and contrasts bring out the best in an individual especially when certain traits get to be clearly distinguished and exhibited. Difference really makes you appreciate things better. Recall the therapeutic sound of black and white keys on a piano or the mix of colour that swirls round the old black & white toffees. Think of the difference between your new girl or guy and your ex? At least there should be a difference if you are progressing or even ponder on the taste of your Mamas cooking compared to that other stuff. What about hot Ghana by day and cool harmattan at night, unless of course you are unlucky to experience a common Ghana contrast of light on & light Off then you will know what blazing heat feels like after dark. There is also wet and dry and we all know the difference! This Friday Ghanas favourite premium entertainment platform, the Tulip Mirror Ball is back with the theme Ebony & Ivory which is an all-time classic where guests come in their choice of a black or white outfit or a combination of the two. This Friday expect to experience a time warp back to the days when you could buy a brand new car for 800 Cedis and a beer went for a cool 60 pesewas. Remember when the proud cedi could spar one on one with the British pound not to mention the dollar? Well this Friday with your GHC40 admission you are guaranteed a comfortable return trip to the disco and groove days with no need for a large green stamp in your passport. Life is worth celebrating as recent events have rudely reminded us and the memories you may have in twenty years time are being made right now as we speak! Last month the event organisers Tag Team welcomed on board new sponsors Johnnie Walker and the iconic beverage will welcome the first 100 guests with a few tots either neat or straight, with a few cubes of ice as you prefer or with a splash of your favourite compliment. Just like great celestial occurrences that dont happen every day, the Tulip Mirror Ball is held only once a month on the last Friday in the Branch Lounge so do not miss a night of fun to reward yourselves with a unique musical treat courtesy of DJ Blow, Ghanas regulatory authority on old school affairs. The popular buffet will be served from 12 midnight to 3 am and advance tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the Golden Tulip in Accra. Admission is still GHC 40 and doors open from 10 pm. A special room rates of GHC402 for Mirror ballers with a late check-out at 3pm can be arranged. The Tulip Mirror Ball is brought to you by Golden Tulip Hotel and Tag Team. It is sponsored by Johnnie Walker and supported by Prestige Photos & Large Format and Y 107.9fm.
