It is the final big awards show before the Oscars. And 12 Years A Slave took the lead with five awards - including Best Picture and Best Director - at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles. Lupita Nyong'o and Cate Blanchett were the golden girls of the night, winning Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress respectively, while Matthew McConaughey was named Best Actor and his co-star Jared Leto took home the Best Supporting Actor award.
