Maxwell Konadu Joins Kwesi Appiah At Man City

Deputy Black stars coach Maxwell Konadu and Black stars team doctor Baba have joined their boss Kwesi Appiah at Manchester city in a four-day visit to exchange ideas with Manuel Pellegrini and other coaches of the English side ahead of world cup 2014, Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively reveal. The 53-year-old flew straight from the Balkan region of Montenegro where he supervised the Black Stars 1-0 friendly defeat to Montenegro, to spend 4 days in Manchester before emplaning to Ghana. Coach Kwesi Appiah and his technical crew will be hosted at City's Carrington training ground with the opportunity of tapping from the huge depth of technical knowledge of City's Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini and the other technical staff. Appiah and Maxwell Konadu will exchange technical ideas in the game in what will be Kwesi Appiah�s third visit to the former Premiership champions as they also observes the team prepare for next weeks' UEFA Champions League 2nd Leg tie with Barcelona in Spain. The visit forms part of preparations towards Ghana�s World Cup participation in June in a scheme organised by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as part of a cooperation agreement between the GFA and Manchester City.
