Bechem United Team Manager Thompson Has Leg Amputated

Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered that team manager of Ghana premier league side Bechem United, Francis Nii-Bruce Thompson has been amputated after a short illness. The young energetic team manager complained of feverish symptoms a couple of weeks ago and was taken to the Bechem government hospital where he was refereed to the Duayaw-Nkwanta Hospital by the nurses. The situation deteriorated and the only option for Thompson was to have his limbs amputated to save his life. Thompson confirmed to Angel FM "It is very true that I have been amputated and am currently at the Duayaw Nkwanta Hospital near Sunyani where the operation took place". "I was a bit sick last week after a game and my daughter visited me so she advised I go to hospital where I was treated for malaria but the situation wasnt getting any better so I was transferred to Duayaw Nkwanta a day after". "The doctor said he couldnt give me infusions or injections because everything wasnt entering my body and the only option was to cut my leg and so I appended my signature upon consultations with my wife and it (my leg) has been cut off", "God knows the best for me and I cannot complain" He sorrowfully added.
