Ghana's Olympic Team To Leave For Palestine In May For A Friendly

Ghana's male U-23 National soccer team, the Black Meteors will leave for Palestine next month to engage the middle-east side in a friendly, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm. The Ghana Football Association received offers for international friendlies from Palestine, Jordan and Morocco but Black Meteors coach Malik Jabir says the management committee of the Meteors have settled on Palestine for their first preparatory match. Jabir told Angel FM "We received offers from Morocco, Jordan and Palestinia but we have decided to play our first match against the latter because their scheduled date for the match was the most suitable at the moment", "There's little time to prepare and put together a team so I requested for four players from each premier league side and we had over 64 players in camp before we pruned down to 50", "We'll cut down the size further before we finally depart for Palestine to play that match probably on the 26th-29th of May," He added
