The Aliu Mahama Foundation and the family of the late H.E Alhaji Aliu Mahama would like to express our appreciation to the leadership and the entire membership of New Patriotic Party for the recognition of, and honour accorded to, the late Alhaji Aliu Mahama at the recent Delegates Conference in Tamale. By dedicating the whole Conference to his memory and good works, you have proven that, the sacrifices of Alhaji Aliu Mahama for the party and the nation as a whole was not in vain. We appreciate the continued recognition given him and we say thank you. We are also most grateful to the Almighty and to delegates for a peaceful conference in line with the ever peaceful and calm disposition of the late Vice President. We would like to use this opportunity to congratulate the entire newly elected executive led by Mr. Paul Afoko. It is our hope and prayer that they will work hard for the party to ultimately answer the cry of mother Ghana to save it from the present economic difficulties.
