The football governing body has revealed that it will make public the squad that will be representing Ghana at Brazil 2014 on May 12.
The Ghana Football Association will announce the Black Stars squad for the 2014 World Cup on May 12.
According to a statement from the football governing body, the Executive Committee of the GFA will sit over the roster on that same day and the list will be made public immediately after that meeting.
The GFA has therefore rubbished a purported 30-man provisional list making rounds in the media.
We wish to state categorically that there is absolutely no truth in the GNA report, the statement said. Coach Kwesi Appiah has not presented a provisional 30-man Black Stars squad to the GFA and has not prepared any such squad for any purpose.
Since the FIFA deadline for presenting the provisional squad is about three weeks away, Coach Appiah has ample time to consider the players for selection, it added.
Ghana are in the same group with Germany, USA and Portugal.
