Premier League To End On June 4

The Premier League Board (PLB) has said the First Capital Plus Premier League (FCPPL) will end on June 4, due to scheduled outstanding matches. The league was initially billed to end on May 2, with several outstanding games for Medeama SC as a result of their involvement in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) inter-clubs competition necessitating the change. With three matches to end the competition, the League is on hold till May 21 to allow all the outstanding matches to be cleared. Medeama will battle Liberty Professionals, Heart of Lions, AshantiGold and Aduana before the league resumes. The outstanding games will be played between April 30-May 18, with the remaining fixtures resuming three days later.
