Celebrated Actress Yvonne Okoro turns down an invitation by Nigerian musician Iyanya to gyrate her waist to the performance of his controversial song, �Your Waist� at Saturday�s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in Accra.
A line from the song, �All I want is your waist�, hints Iyanya�s interest in Yvonne Nelson waist and that of two other Nigerian female celebrities.
It was released months before reports surfaced that he was dating the Ghanaian actress. But their relationship hit the rocks, following allegations that he had cheated on her.
Many had felt Iyanya did not treat Yvonne well.
On Saturday, the �Kukere� crooner put up one of his top notch performances. He was among the audience when emcee KOD introduced him to the stage.
Iyanya asked the ladies in the audience to wind their waist to the song but he was not given the attention he needed.
Finally, he went to Yvonne Okoro to get her to wind for him. But it did not happen. She stood up, moved her shoulders and clapped but did not gyrate her waist as he had requested.
Yvonne Nelson was not spotted at this year�s VGMA.
