Ghana�s under 20 male team have gone past Sierra Leone to the next stage of African Youth Championship qualifiers.
The Ghanaians, at home, battled from behind to beat Sierra Leone 2-1 in the northern city of Tamale.
The win is a massive shot in the arm for Ghana�s quest to get into the next African Youth Championships in 2015. The aggregate score was 4-1.
Sierra Leone�s early goal to silence the home crowd came from Ibrahim Konte after 29 minutes.
Ghana rallied to score twice from Thomas Agyepong and Latif Abubakari to get coach Sellas Tetteh a step closer to another championship berth.
Next up for Ghana is a game against the winner of Rwanda v Gabon.
