Germany Will Face A Tougher And Well Organised Black Stars - Kwesi Appiah

Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah says despite his sides unfortunate defeat at the on-going FIFA World Cup to the USA, their next opponent [Germany] will face a tougher and well organized Black Stars. Germany earlier trashed Portugal 4-0 in the group G opener but Appiah expects the Black Stars to be ready for the crucial game in Fortaleza on Saturday. According to him, though the Germans have a very formidable squad, his team will do whatever it takes to clinch their first three points of the tournament. Its not going to be easythe Germans have got a very good team but we [Black Stars] will do our best to give them a very good game, he said during a post-match interview. Ghana lost their first 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup to a tactically disciplined USA team. Clint Dempsey sent the Stars and Stripes into the lead in less than a minute of Monday night's game at the Estadio das Dunas in Natal. Dempsey dribbled his way into the box to side-foot home but Andre Ayew equalised with eight minutes remaining after latching onto a beautiful back-heel pass from captain Asamoah Gyan. Substitute John Brooks header five minutes to end the game secured a first victory for the Americans over the Black Stars. Kwesi Appiah however admitted that lack of concentration was to partly blame for Ghanas downfall after describing Dempseys fastest goal in the World Cup now as a disaster. I think that early goal was a disaster, it was unfortunate. Loss of concentration cost us big time. All I can say is that it was a very tough game and when you play at this high level any little mistake can cost you dearly, he said.
