The Effutu constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) Election Director, Mr. Odoom Porku, has appealed to aspirants contesting for constituency executive positions to conduct their campaigns in accordance with the constitution of the party in the interest of democracy. Mr. Porku made call in an interview with the GNA at the constituency office of the party in Winneba where filing took place. At the close of the filing of the nomination forms on Friday, August, 1, 2014, 32 people who took the forms had submitted them. He said three people are contesting chairmanship position, Vice chairman, two, Secretary, three, Deputy Secretary, one, Propaganda, two, Deputy Propaganda, two, Youth Organizer, three, Women Organizer, four, Treasurer, two, Deputy Women Organizer, two, Deputy Treasurer, one, Organizer, four, Deputy Organizer, two. Mr. Porku said that they have proposed 5th and 6th August, 2014 to vet all the candidates and also 31st August for the elections which are subject for approval by the Regional Executives of the Party.
