Asante Kotoko's Abeiku Ainooson has won the Most Valuable Player award after coming up tops as the best player of 2013-14 MTN FA Cup. A number of players and officials were recognised with awards at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra on Saturday night led by Ainooson, who beat of competition from Elvis Opoku, Augustine Okrah and Issa Yakubu. Ainooson also added the the Best Defender prize to his collection on a night that also saw his side, Kotoko, winners of the competition picking up two awards. Mas-Ud Dramani, for guiding Kotoko to the title was voted the coach of the Year.
