CAF Instructor Ben Koufie has confirmed that Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah has contacted him for the technical director role of the Black Stars, noting that he is ready to his 'personal friend' in that capacity. Appiah was handed the opportunity to nominate two persons for that position by the three member committee which was formed by the GFA. Ghanasportsonline.com earlier this week broke news that the CAF technical Instructor and former GF Chairman has been named by the Ghana head coach to provide techicl assistance to his job at the Black Stars, and Koufie has confirmed the approach. He told Kumasi-based Kessben FM ��Anyway I haven�t hear it but what I know is that the committee will meet today. I�m ready to help him on that. Why not he�s a personal friend. He asked to be his technical director and I told him I�ll do it.�� The three-membercommittee were expected to meet on Monday but the meeting was cancelled due to one of the member been unavailable.
