A former National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abeyifa Karbo has described as �malicious, wicked and opportunistic� a statement issued by Dr Athur Kennedy accusing Nana Akufo Addo of being behind the hooliganism that occurred at the party headquarters. Thugs on Tuesday attacked the headquarters of the opposition party following the decision by the General Secretary to direct acting Communications Director, Perry Okudzeto to take two years� accumulated leave while appointing new deputies. Dr. Arthur-Kennedy in a statement issued Thursday, August 21, 2014 accused Nana Akufo-Addo, flagbearer aspirant of the NPP of inspiring the attacks that took place at the party headquarters. According to him, after making numerous deductions from comments and statements from Nana Addo and his supporters, he came to the conclusion that Nana Addo �Obviously, doesn�t like the idea that there are new executives he cannot control.� Meanwhile, Nana Addo has condemned this statement describing it as malicious. Also reacting to Arthur K�s statement in an interview on Citi FM, Karbo said he is not surprised at Dr Kennedy behaviour saying; �he acts as though he is still the National NUGS President he was in the 80s� However, no matter what he says or does, Nana Addo�s record of maintaining peace and being peace-loving is known by all. Karbo noted that the youth in the NPP including himself are �utterly disgusted� at the increasing blame game in the media by elders of the party like Dr. Arthur Kennedy and the worst is that he is �cooling off in North Carolina while the party reel in pain� �We all know Nana Addo�s record of ensuring peace has been confirmed and proven�his record in ensuring that there is even peace in neighbouring African countries is documented. Arthur Kennedy is cooling somewhere in North Carolina and he sends a very malicious, wicked, opportunistic statement like this to the party; accusing Akufo Addo�the good people of this country and our party knows the truth�
