Le Maxque And Band 2014 UK Tour For Breast And Cervical Cancer Free Facility Project

His activities as the national breast and cervical cancer ambassador has been almost invisible after his two music videos for the campaign in 2012, one of which was meant to promote the Igive Charity Scratch Card, introduced by The National Breast & Cervical Cancer Fund (NBCCF). The purpose of the fund which was to raise money through the sale of the card failed, thereby forcing the card project to be redrawn. However, with an overpowering passion still driving him, his utmost wish as the ambassador for the campaign is to build a free facility where any Ghanaian woman can just walk in and have her breast and womanhood screened free of charge, including all professional medical advices and drugs administered, Le Maxque is still racing against time and against all odds to make this dream come true. When our effort to raise funds internally for the campaign failed, I decided to look outside Ghana. God, who for his mystery divine mercies looks into the hearts of men, heard my bitter criesbecause the average Ghanaian woman cannot afford the cost of a breast or cervical cancer screeningthe situation is so alarming because it has kind of issued an invisible death sentence on our women very pathetic and until I build this free clinic for Ghanaian women, my soul will not rest in peace Le Maxque said passionately in an exclusive phone interview. Le Maxque has been known in Ghana for his unique mask concept and traditional ayigbe music that has single him out among the lot.
