Ratings Of how the Black Stars fared in their win over Togo

Stephen Adams 5/10 -The Aduana goalkeeper made his senior debut and looked shaky in the early stages of the game. Should have held on to Floyd Ayite's initial shot before he bundled in the goal. Recovered after that and was quietly unflappable, organising his defense and claiming aerial situations. Harrison Afful 6/10 - Recovered from his poor outing against Uganda to provide solidity at right back. Defended well against the dangerous Dove Wome and also attacked well to provide support for Atsu. Baba Rahman 7/10 - His inclusion brought balance to a defence that has overly compensated on the left side. Provided the pin point cross for Badu's goal, but his best work was in defense, keeping Adebyaor and Ousonou quite. Jonathan Mensah 6/10- Was strong in the tackle and in the air. A calming influence in hostile territory, he used his experience well and read the game well to reduce the impact of goal scorer Ayite and Adebayor.Adebayor's goal should not have happened on his watch. Awal Mohammed 4/10 -The Maritzburg defender was given a rough welcome into the team as his attempt at a headed clearance led to the opening that was ruthlessly exposed by Floyd Ayite. To his credit did not fold after that and made good use of his physique to win several challenges. Agyemang Badu 7/10- Was brought in to add more dynamism to a midfield that was lethargic on Saturday and he complemented Kwadwo Asamoah well. Made timely runs and pushed the team forward when afforded the space. Took his goal very well. A return to the starting eleven to be proud of. Christian Atsu 7/10 -Another player who shone in Lome. Was strangely afforded a lot of space on the right side of Togo's defense and he duly obliged with surging runs. Was always available to lead a counter attack and was brilliantly played on by Gyan for his well taken third goal. Kwadwo Asamoah 8/10-A big performance from a player who has been under pressure to do so for a long time. Played deep from midfield and posed problems for Romao and Dossevi with his fine blend of power, precision passing and intelligence. Laid on a pearl of a cross for Asamoah Gyan's equaliser and was at the heart of everything good Ghana did in Lome. Asamoah Gyan 7/10- The captain endured a weekend to forget in Kumasi, but delivered the perfect response with a fine performance. Led the line well and held up play when the need arose .His header for the equaliser was as good as any you will see anywhere. Laid on the assist for Atsu's winner. Jordan Ayew 6/10 -Put in a hard shift full of running. Did well to hold up play in the move that led to the Badu's goal. Was at times too far apart from strike partner Gyan to take advantage of the Al Ain man's knock downs. Andre Ayew 4/10- Not the best performance we have seen from the Marseille wide man. Struggled to impact the game in long stretches and dallied too long when he had possession. Seems to have lost a bit of pace. Replaced early in the second half. Substitutes Rabiu Mohammed 5/10 -Replaced Andre as Appiah looked to shore up his lead. Brought steel and freshness into a tiring midfield Mubarak Wakaso 4/10 - A quite performance from the new Celtic man.
