The Ghana FA will propose the payment of $100,000 to coach Kwesi Appiah as his severance package following his dismissal as coach of the Black Stars. The amount represents a four-month compounded salary of the 54-year-old who was on a net salary of $25,000 a month. Appiah will be officially told he is being sacked as coach of the Black Stars on Friday after which discussions over his severance package will begin. The ex Ghana captain was tied down to a fresh two-year contract before leading the side to a disappointing campaign at the 2014 World Cup. The GFA per the terms of the fresh contract is to pay compensation to Kwesi Appiah since they instigated the action for termination. It however appears coach Kwesi Appiah is entitled to a larger amount as severance package but the Ghana FA will be looking to negotiate with a $100,000 in mind. The Ghana FA Executive Committee resolved to fire Kwesi Appiah just within 24 hours of leading the Black Stars to a vital win over Togo in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. The Ghana FA is already looking for a swift replacement with Milovan Rajevac in the lead to get the job for the second time. The Serbian trainer had arrived in the country earlier this week to originally discuss an appointment for the newly created technical adviser job � discussions which has now metamorphosed into him taking the top job.
