Seasoned Sports Journalist, Christopher Opoku wants the entire Ghana Football Association [GFA] executives including its boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi to lay down their tools to avoid further embarrassment. According to him, the circumstance under which Black Stars former coach, Kwasi Appiah was relieved from his post by the FA is unprincipled and uncultured. The Ghana Football Association confirmed that its decision to fire the former stars captain was based on a comment he made concerning the issue of an appointment of a technical adviser for him [Kwasi Appiah]. The GFA made it public that Kwasi Appiah after Ghana�s shambolic World Cup performance in Brazil opted for a technical adviser to beef up his team; this the 54-year-old former Kotoko skipper has clearly debunked. Clear-headed Appiah received a shocking dismissal on Friday after the nation�s football governing body confirmed that it had parted ways with the former Black Stars captain on mutual grounds even though his contract to manage the Stars was extended earlier. Discussing the ruckus surrounding Kwasi Appiah�s discharge on Peace FM�s Kokrokoo, Christopher Opoku urged Kwesi Appiah to sue the GFA for bridge of contract. �It is a clear case of constructive dismissal. They [GFA] can�t sack Kwasi Appiah on nonperformance grounds because in his new contract, he has been tasked to qualify the team to AFCON [African Cup of Nation] and so for he was on task to do so. What the GFA has done, Kwesi Appiah can sue the FA for wrongful dismissal and claim his full two years contract wage�� he opined. According to him, the entire GFA executives must bow their heads in shame and called on all the executives to �step down� to bring some pride to the office which he claimed has performed �badly� over the years.
