Corporate Ghana To Raise Money For The Blind

THE ANNUAL e.TV Corporate Run which is in its fifth year is set to take off this Saturday 20th September, 2014 at the Silver Star tower. The run, which is a partnership between e.TV Ghana and Japan Motors, is an initiative to bring corporate Ghana together to network in a healthy fashion while raising money for a healthy cause, as proceeds from the event are donated to the Ghana Blind Union. General Manager of e.TV Ghana, Ernest Arday said the fact that this is the fifth corporate run is a testament to its success. He said Not only is this for a good cause but it is also a great opportunity for those in the corporate world to meet, mingle and share ideas. Mr. Arday also went on to say that the ever increasing demands at work meant that exercise was becoming harder to fit in, and the run was therefore a good way to bring fitness to the forefront of peoples minds, help them keep fit and relieve stress and enable them to better perform their roles. He said e.TV Ghana wants to make an impact in the Ghanaian society through initiatives such as the Corporate Run and other activities which will positively impact the lives of Ghanaians. Last year the award for the fastest male went to Paul Amaglo from Ghana Police, while Edward Boateng, CEO of Global Media Alliance, came third in the fastest CEO category. Mr. Ardey said With just a week to go there is still time for corporate organizations to join in the occasion. This years occurrence is expected to pull in over 400 people from the business community.
