Statue Of Suarez's Bite Selling In Italy

An artist in Italy is selling terra cotta statues of Luis Suarez's infamous World Cup bite on Giorgio Chiellini. Terracotta statues of Suarez's infamous biting incident at Brazil 2014 has been captured by an artist in Naples, Italy and has become popular with tourists. The Uruguayan forward is serving a 4-month worldwide ban from any football activity after biting Italy defender, Giorgio Chiellini during a group game at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. It wasn't the first time Suarez had been suspended for biting an opponent, Liverpool signing him when he was still serving a ban for biting an opponent in the Dutch Eredivisie whilst playing for Ajax Armsterdam. He committed a similar offence against Serbian defender, Ivanovic of Chelsea in an English Premier League game for Liverpool at Anfield. He was suspended for the remainder of that, the 2012/13 season and a further 6 matches at the start of the next campaign. A goal scoring magician on the pitch, that did not stop Suarez from winning the goal king title as he powered Liverpool to a near surprise Premier League title win in 2013/14. An injury knocked him out of Uruguay's even more shocking 1-3 defeat to Costa Rica in their opening match in Brazil 2014, but the striker was back in the groove against England, his two goals condemning the Three Lions to a second straight defeat. He did not score but was influential as Uruguay defeated Italy in the third group game to qualify for the second round at the expense of the Azzuri but videos showed what the referee had failed to see on the pitch and Suarez was rightly banned for the rest of the tournament and even beyond. He joined Spanish giants, Barcelona in the summer for the biggest transfer fee of the summer but has till yet to kick a ball for the Catalans due to his 4-month ban which ends in October. Now, a stall in a market in Naples is selling this statue commemorating Suarez's infamous biting incident in the victim, Chiellini's country.
