Lawyer Kissi Agyabeng, on behalf of the Gyans family has rendered an unqualified apology for the attack on Daniel Kenu, Ashanti Regional Editor of the Daily Graphic newspaper.
Lawyer Agyabeng who represented Baffour Gyan and Anim Addo in court said �the incident could have been handled in a better way.� Daniel Kenu was allegedly attacked by Baffour Gyan and some thugs after he asked Asamoah Gyan at a press conference to confirm or deny whether he indeed �sacrificed� his hiplife friend, Castro for rituals.
Baffour Gyan who was not happy with Kenu�s question allegedly led some thugs to assault Kenu at the Baba Yara.
Kenu took the case to court but later withdrew it citing personal reasons. At a press conference in Accra on Wednesday, 24th September, 2014, Lawyer Agyabeng said: �We apologize for Baffour Gyan�s angry outburst at Daniel Kenu. It was uncalled for and we believe it will not be repeated. A few unhappy words were spoken in the heat of the situation. We regret this incident��
