Uche Ofodile, wife of Captain Planet, member of Hiplife group 4X4 is now reportedly on her way to the Republic of Congo to head the TIGO Mobile Network�s Operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Uche who is the former Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana, resigned to pick up a higher position with a different company in South Africa few days after she got married Captain Planet born Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey. After resigning as the first female Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Ghana, there were speculations that Uche Ofodile was going for a similar position in South Africa or London with another telecom company, but it seems, Uche, has taken up a bigger challenge as the CEO of TIGO in DRC. The lovebirds tied the knot at Uche's house Osu, in Accra. Captain Planet have being making frequent trips to South Africa to spend time with his wife and the Rapper will obviously be changing his destination to the Democratic Republic of Congo to visit his cooperate wife Uche who is expected take up the role of Chief Executive from October 1. Captain Planet, excited husband of Uche took to instagram this morning to congratulate his sweetheart while wishing her the best. As Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone, Uche drove spectacular growth for the company and won many awards to crown the commercial success, including �Most Admired Brand� and �Telecommunications Company of the Year.� She played an instrumental role in Vodafone Ghana�s success by overhauling the strategy, driving business performance and creating a strong local talent bench. Prior to Vodafone, Uche delivered strong brand and commercial growth in a number of challenging roles in Nigeria. She has a BA in Political Science from Ramapo College, New Jersey in the USA and a Diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Columbia University Business School. Commenting on her appointment, Uche said: �I am so delighted to be leading Tigo�s team in DRC. The country is at a very exciting juncture in its ICT development, and there is great potential for further growth. I was attracted by Tigo�s ambitious digital vision for its consumers.
