Justice Dzamefe Lauds Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan

Chairman of the Commission of Inquiry, Justice Senyo Dzamefe has showered praises on Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan describing him as the hope of Africa. Gyan�s immense performance for the Black Stars over the years has helped the team achieve better heights in various competitions. The 28-year-old who made his international debut against Somalia on 19th November 2003 and scored in a game the Black Stars won 5-0 has been an important figure in the Black Stars team for the past 11 years. His consistency, loyalty and impressive performance for the Black Stars has propelled the Appeal court Judge to laud the all-time top scorer for Ghana. �You are Africa�s hope in football and you are from Ghana. Have it at the back of your mind every day. Justice Dzamefe affirmed. �Africa to get something in football must come from Ghana specifically the black stars,� he added. �And you are the captain of the Black Stars. You are the hope of Africa. 2018�bring the cup to Ghana,� he concluded. The former Sunderland attacker remains the most prolific goal poacher for the Black Stars, netting 45 times in 86 appearances for the senior national team. Gyan also hold the record as the highest scoring African player at the World Cup with 6 goals in three World Cup appearances, thus in 2006, 2010 and 2014. He also helped the Black Stars to clinch bronze and Silver at the 2008 and 2010 African Cup of Nations tournaments respectively.
