Our attention has been drawn to the circulation of text messages indicating that some subscribers have won one of several prizes in a promotion. These subscribers are then requested to redeem their prizes by calling back or sending a text message to a specific number within a specified time. Please note that such text messages are fraudulent and do not originate from Tigo Ghana. Subscribers who receive such text messages are strongly encouraged to disregard them and report them by forwarding the message to Tigo short code 419. Tigo subscribers can access all genuine Tigo promotions from the official Tigo website www.tigo.com.gh, the Tigo official Facebook page - www.facebook.com/tigogh or Tigo�s 24-hour dedicated Customer Care hotline 100. In order not to fall prey to these scams, Tigo subscribers are encouraged to note the following: All promotions from Tigo Ghana can be authenticated on the official Tigo website www.tigo.com.gh or Facebook page www.facebook.com/tigogh. We do not charge any money to enable subscribers participate in a promotion or redeem a prize and we will always publish the names of winners of all Tigo Promotions. Tigo will also directly call all winners of promotions organized by the company using our official Tigo line and redemption of prizes will never be done through a 3rd party. Redemption centers will be set up whenever required at our Customer Service Centers or accredited dealer premises.
