Ade Coker Is An Opportunist Stephen Akwetey

Aspiring Greater Accra Chairman of the NDC, Stephen Akwetey has described incumbent chairman Ade Coker as an opportunist. In his view, Joseph Ade Coker is not a true party man and wants to reap where he has not sown. Ade Coker is not an NDC man so he doesnt understand the philosophy and principles on which the NDC was founded Mr . Akwetey alleged in an exclusive interview on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen programme Friday. His comments come a day before the partys Greater Accra Region executive elections scheduled for Saturday. According to Mr. Akwetey, some elders in the NDC schemed for Ade Coker to be elected NDC Greater Accra Chairman when he lost parliamentary primaries of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2008. The days where individuals in leadership position in the NDC will front for people without doing background checks will be a thing of the past he declared. Because NDC is not in his [Ade] blood, he does not share anything with the poor guy on the street because he sees himself as a technocrat and only mingles with people who have money. Stephen Akwetey maintained that the Greater Accra NDC, under the leadership of the Ade Coker has suffered several setbacks due to his inability to reason with the people. Ade Coker is the number one opportunist in NDC and we dont want such people as leaders of our party he added.
