CIMG Annual Strategic Marketing Confab Urges Corporate Ghana To Embrace Proper Branding

The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana in its two days Annual Strategic Marketing Conference at Golden Tulip has brought eminent personalities in marketing to deliver papers on selected topics of interest to corporate Ghana. Chief Executive Officer of Interplast Limited, Mr. Arthur L. Huberts one of the speakers who delivered a speech at the conference said that in order for corporate Ghana to build a brand that can stand the test of time, they must be consistent in what they do, say and produce. He added that they must strive to produce quality products to retain their customers, build their trust as that will help define the corporate products. Speaking to Peacefmonline.com, the CEO of Interplast insisted that Ghanaian companies must show respect to their customers by action, paying attention to them and propel to excel in their activities. According to him, the majority of consumers would not care if over 70 percent of brands ceased to exist, adding it will take the power of marketing to arouse the emotional needs of consumers. He however urged the corporate Ghana to embrace the various form of the marketing tools as businesses are evolving through the print media, social media, radio, TV, Item branding and Event branding. He said the result of this that �they know who you are, they know what you do and they know what they get�. �We invest in marketing for recognition, for people know where to go, people recognize efforts of work and for them to understand your investment�..it is not easy but we have to persevere, clear way forward and do what we say and say what we do�, he urged.
