I Have Really Toiled For NDCDelegates Will Surely Vote For Me

About 4000 delegates will be choosing their executives at the upcoming National Delegates Congress (NDC) to be held on Saturday, 20th December, 2014 at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. One of the positions which will be keenly watched by political observers is the National Organiser slot which is being contested by the incumbent, Yaw Boateng Gyan, his close contender Kofi Adams, an incumbent Deputy General Secretary and Spokesman for former President Rawlings, and Mr Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye, the MP for Afram Plains North. Apart from that, political pundits will also be looking out for the one who will win the Chairmanship position which has four kingpins of the NDC, namely: the incumbent, Dr Kwabena Adjei; Mr Kofi Portuphy; Mr Dan Abodakpi, a former minister of state and diplomat, and Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, a former secretary of state. Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on Monday, Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan said no matter the accusations and the controversies surrounding his position, he is confident of retaining his seat. According to him, the delegates are discerning they know how I have toiled for the party and so even though I will accept the results in the unlikely event of a loss, I know the delegates will not choose any other candidate apart from me Meanwhile, the fate of the Congress is still unknown as the court is yet to decide on a law suit filed by Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye. Mr. Aboagye Didieye claims he was unlawfully disqualified from the race for the National Organiser position of the party.
